I have installed a fresh copy of windows XP on one of my computers and I'm wanting to know how to install the XP updates Microsoft offers you.
Is this a easy process, what do I have to do?

You will need an internet connection to run the update function.
You can download the files,windows xp updates which are usually large like the XP3 Patch, then burn them to a CD or Portable Hard Drive, then take it to the offline PC to install.
I'm not aware if Microsoft is making them available on CD for sale or not at this time.
Download XP SP3 - that'll give you most of the updates from the XP original release. But windows xp updatesmost of the updates are security updates - which you don't need if the computer's not on the internet.
You need to find an online computer and manually download all the microsoft updates onto that one. Then you can transfer the updates to the offline computer and manually install them.
